Coronavirus Disinfection

Disinfection and decontamination services for the destruction of viruses, bacteria and mold. For enclosed spaces, offices, temporary structures, homes, vessels, and vehicles. And for large and small items and equipment

Purfresh offers office and equipment sanitation and disinfection services with our patented ozone generation technology.

What is Ozone? Ozone (O3) is a reactive gas composed of three oxygen atoms. At low concentrations (in the parts per billion level), ozone can be used to deactivate viruses, such as enveloped viruses like the coronavirus family. When adding humidity to ozone, it can be used to accelerate the deactivation of viruses at low ozone concentrations.

The advantage of using ozone over other disinfectants Since ozone is a gas, it easily permeates all areas of a room and hard-to-reach areas, including ventilation. It also has the additional benefit of being able to disinfect aerosols suspended in the air. Ozone must be generated on-site. Unused ozone degrades back to oxygen (O2), leaving no residue.

* Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) application pending with FDA for PPE decontamination application to use against SARS-Cov-2 / COVID-19.

How ozone works?

Viruses are destroyed when ozone diffuses through the protein coat into the nucleic acid core and damages the viral RNA.

Ozone is a viral decontaminating agent. O3 (ozone) is proven to kill SARS coronaviruses. Several studies show the “known anti-viral properties of ozone” to destroy 11 different viruses, including coronaviruses, as well as rhinovirus, influenza and other common cold viruses. Studies also conclude that “No ozone-resistant viruses have ever been found”.

The ozone is distributed via fan generated airflow in your offices during a 1 to 12 hour period. Microbiological samples can be taken before and after the treatment, by customer request, in order to validate disinfection levels.

It is generally accepted that ozone can disinfect surfaces laden with viruses.

One study of the impact of ozone on virus reduction reported 99% inactivation of viruses on environmental surfaces within 47-223 minutes
